THE PRECISE II (U.S.) TRIAL - 2016
The second study (Precise II) included 90 participants with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes. It was performed in the United States and demonstrated the efficacy and safety of the Eversense CG System during 90 days of continuous sensor wear.

ACCEPTABILITY OF IMPLANTABLE CGM (EUROPE) - 2017
This European study included 51 participants with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes. It showed that the Eversense CGM with under-the-skin sensor was widely accepted by users and favorably evaluated by a high percentage of participants in the study.

THE PRECISION TRIAL (U.S) - 2018
This 90-day trial included 35 adults with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes and was designed to provide additional data on the Eversense CGM system with regard to accuracy and safety. Findings confirmed the accuracy and safety of the implantable sensor throughout the sensor life and showed a slight increase in accuracy in the very low hypoglycemic range.

Disclaimer

The Eversense® E3 Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) System is indicated for continually measuring glucose levels for up to 180 days in persons with diabetes age 18 and older. The system is indicated for use to replace fingerstick blood glucose (BG) measurements for diabetes treatment decisions. Fingerstick BG measurements are still required for calibration primarily one time a day after day 21, and when symptoms do not match CGM information or when taking medications of the tetracycline class. The sensor insertion and removal procedures are performed by a health care provider. The Eversense E3 CGM System is a prescription device; patients should talk to their health care provider to learn more.
