When getting ready for traveling with diabetes, there is so much to think about, isn’t there? Of course, you need to be well prepared. With Eversense there is less hassle, and your packing list is pretty short.
IMPORTANT!
Use only the AC power adapter and USB cable provided with the smart transmitter when charging the smart transmitter battery. Use of another power supply could damage the smart transmitter, not allowing glucose readings to be received properly, create the risk of fire, and could result in voiding your warranty. If your Eversense AC power adapter or USB cable is damaged or lost, contact Customer Support for a replacement to ensure safe operation of the device.
Travelling with Eversense is easy and convenient
*The International Implant Card is included in the Eversense E3 Sensor Kit. Your health care provider should have provided this to you, on the day of your sensor insertion. In case you don’t have it or lost it, you may alternatively use the Medical Device Travelling Information Card which you may download and print here.
When your sensor is exposed to too much ambient light, a "High Ambient Light" Alert appears every 60 minutes, affecting its ability to communicate with your smart transmitter*.
Reduce ambient light by doing one or more of the following:
