Do not pull, tug, or rub Steri-Strips™. In most cases, the Steri-Strips™ will fall off on their own within two weeks. If the strips start to curl during that time, you can trim them with scissors. If they are still in place after two weeks, speak to your health care provider to give you specific instructions about when and how to remove them.
A fully charged smart transmitter battery typically lasts approximately 24 to 36 hours. It is recommended to always charge the smart transmitter for a full 15 minutes using a wall outlet to ensure a full charge. We find that for most people, a good routine is charging it at about the same time each day, for example while taking a shower.
To get a Good or Excellent signal in the Placement Guide, try moving the smart transmitter up or down slightly or, slightly rotating it over the sensor. Wait about 1 second for the Placement Guide to refresh between each adjustment. If helpful, tap Show More Detail to display a numerical value of signal strength.
